Ripoff Price Increases almost Yearly – NO!

    *** UPDATE *** I’ve update the review because they did finally refund my renewal for their services which is what they should have done without hassle. Although, raising prices every year for a plugin is something unsuspected subscribers need to be aware of. ***

    I signed up for RankMath Pro several years ago. Unknowingly they’ve been raising prices. It was $199.00 a year for the software. My recent bill was $320.00 (with tax). No warning nothing. Since I seen the FastSpring charge pending I figured out it was RankMath and immediately cancelled my account and removed RankMath SEO from all my websites and removed all my sites from the whitelisted sites. Completely cut them out of my stack. My charges starting:

    Feb. 1, 2021 – $199.00
    Feb. 1, 2022 – $212.43
    Feb. 1, 2023 – $212.43
    Feb. 1, 2024 – $244.46
    Feb. 1, 2025 – $320.12

    Once I did that, I contacted them same day, (charge still pending) and let them know I wasn’t aware of the upward creep each year of their plugin and I asked for a full refund of the latest charge.

    Their response: “Sorry to disappoint, but our refund policy does not extend for renewal subscriptions.”

    This is an example of how NOT to treat your long term clients. The product is decent but there’s much better plugins that aren’t bloated in the SEO framework space.
