Right Sidebar support for Posts

  • Hi, I am using the Onepress theme and I want the right sidebar support in the posts. Basically, I am using Advanced Classifieds & Directory Pro and on the listing pages, I want to display some ads on the right side using widgets. Could you please help?

    Please let me know if you need any more information.

    Please note that I had tried the “Customizr” theme and since that theme supports right sidebar, I was able to add custom HTML in the widgets in the right sidebar. Just for example, I am mentioning this thing.

    Hi @webfuse2017,

    We have the right sidebar on Posts already. It is Appearances => Widgets => Sidebar. Just drag any widget you want there.

    Hi @famethemes, Thanks for your quick response.
    I see the sidebar but, this sidebar gets displayed on the page based on what template I have chosen. Now coming to the template, I can only choose it new pages. Here is the problem. I do not see an option of the right sidebar in a new page. Only Options I see are these –
    Default Template
    Frontpage
    Full Width – Contained Content
    Full Width – Stretched Content
    Left Sidebar

    Please note that the above options are displayed in page attributes section -> Template drop-down. Here also the Right Sidebar option is missing.

    Coming to the New post, the page attribute section itself is missing.

    The Default Template is a page with right sidebar. And that is why we don’t need the Right Sidebar template, it is not necessary.

    Also, the post is not the same with Page, we don’t support post template.
