right sidebar alignment issue – LiteMag theme

i’m having issue with the homepage/ frontpage right sidebar elements.
the blutheme widgets work. but when i use a simple image link widget it shows the first one, then the following ones drop down and reflow and rescale to entire width.
But, if i view a basic page, the right sidebar works and looks as it should.
is the frontpage issue a floating parameter for the sidebar?
