Right Side Widgets

  • There is something wrong with the side widgets on my site sisterhued.com. I think there is a bug in the Astrid social profile widget that keeps moving the entire right side widgets to the bottom of the page. I say that because when I use it the site gets all wonky. This is the sole thing that is plaguing me when it comes to this theme.

    Now the whole site is screwed to the point where I can’t have any right sidebar widgets because they will be at the bottom of the screen. I can’t have that so I removed them until I can get this resolved. I saw another thread on this and I was told to start another for my own separate issue.

    Is there a css code that I can use that will override this glitch and keep the right side widget where it’s supposed to be.

    Yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the theme and nothing seems to work.

    I’ve just tried to recreate your issue on my local Astrid install, but that widget works well in sidebar there. Do you have a staging site to show your issue there?

    Hey @romanbon!

    I put the widgets back. They’re on the right (YAY!) but that social widget is wacky (BOO!). There should only be 4 but there are 2 extra blank squares. Can you correct this?

    Also, I want to add this code <h2><p style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #bf7000;”>FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL</span></p></h2> above those social media icons to match the rest of the side bar. Can you help with this as well.

    1. It looks like you put Astrid: Social Profile widget into Text widget. Can you please describe how you did it?

    2. I see LET’S BE SOCIAL! widget title. Is that what you wanted to add?
