Right Justified posts contrary to Style code

    I have finally got my posts live on FB! Yea!

    However ~ the posts are ALL right justified! Impossible to read.

    I checked the coding on the style (creativSOUP) on FB, all left justified.

    Then I loaded an old article with a different style. When it loaded correctly, I switched my site to that style (DFC signature).

    Seemed like a simple solution. NOT. Now all the articles with BOTH styles are right justified, including the one which was previously loading correctly.

    I’m stumped.

    Hi Dorothy,

    Thanks for getting in touch. If you go to the General tab of the settings page for our plugin, the fifth option down should be RTL, what is that set to?

    Also, on your Facebook page, if you go to the Instant Articles Styling manager and Edit your Style, under the Body Text heading there should be an Alignment option, what is that set to (like in this screenshot)?

    Hi Oz,

    Thanks for your quick reply. The RTL setting is Enabled. Should it be different?

    I just rechecked the Styling manager on IA Facebook page, and they are still both set Body Text to left.

    Hi Dorothy,

    Ah, no, probably not. RTL means Right-To-Left, if you have it set to Enabled then that would explain why your articles appear Right aligned. Could you set it to Disabled and see if that fixes it?

    Instant Articles are Cached on Facebook so once you make the change you’ll need to Update a post in WP and wait for it to sync (though if they’re all incorrect it might be worth jsut deleting all your Instant Articles on Facebook and letting them all re-sync).
