right hand text and images

I want to have a nice set of images and text on the right hand lower section of my page, like what is demonstrated here https://bavotasan.com/2014/arcade-premium-wordpress-theme/, but I can’t figure out what I need to do with the widgets to make this happen. Is this because it’s on option only available on the Premium version, or am I missing something obvious? thanks for your help
