• In the last couple of weeks, my right column menu (my only menu!) has been half there and has finally disappeared altogether. My arrow at the bottom to scroll back to older posts is gone.

I have not done anything differently than I have been doing for the last year. I type text. I post pictures. I respond to comments. Nothing fancy.

Help! I am kind of “plug and play” with this blog. Putting an image on the header was a big project for me ??

Do you think that changing themes would help? I am using “WordPress Default 1.6”. If I should change themes, can someone recommend one that views properly in all browsers?? My current theme displays poorly for many IE users. It’ll flush left (poorly) when it’s supposed to be centered. And, photos will view as their actual size rather than sized properly for the entry. The bigger pictures will push everything out of whack. Once again, these problems only occur in many versions of IE.

I build in Safari. Always have, so dont see this as a problem.

    My blog is blog.littlebluedog.org

I have seen multiple people with the same problem as mine…column and footer gone. Not one single resolution has been posted to help any of them.

I did read one that said they tried different themes and the same thing happened…so I didnt try a new theme right away.

Last resort tried a new theme and it seems to be displaying ok. Hope this helps someone else.

I still would appreciate any expert opinions on why my column and footer disappeared in the first place because changing themes was not my ideal fix.
