right column links no longer working

  • I recently upgraded to latest version of WP and now none of my links work, ie older posts, comments etc.
    My blog is a subdomain of my main website and whenever any of the links are selected it goes to the index page of my main site. I’m beginning to suspect .htaccess

    Any suggestion deeply appreciated.

  • htaccess sounds like the culpirate.

    How old was the upgrade?

    Check to see where the links are pointing by going over them with your mouse.

    Might be they use to go to

    somesite.site.com and your new one is https://www.site.com so they are pointing to the wrong place?

    I applied the upgrade earlier this week at a prompting from WP while working on a new post. I’ll check out your suggestions. Thanks
