    I got this far:

    .

    #topheader, #header, #footer{
    background-color: white;
    }
    that there is a tricky call to css!! A div class ID!! ??
    keep an eye out for typo’s like that… will cause much grief. delete it and you can see the white behind and I assume where the image belongs?

    Thanks for the replay, but I’m not exactly sure what you think should be changed. I added the style you mentioned, but I don’t need a white background, I need to make margins work.

    Right margins do nothing. Left ones work fine but right, or bottom ones fail making it so I can’t position properly.

    Any ideas there. I tied adding every kind of margin I could think of but right and bottom margins still do nothing and I need to push that header to center it, as well as move it up.
