    Hi, on Structured Data Tool I get this error on all pages where I have the shortcode:
    BlogPosting is not a valid type of segmentation for the property itemReviewed.

    Thank you.

    Just some updates on this: (sorry, had not many time to work)

    I’ve completed “book” and “movie”.

    I’ve removed, from the settings, the question “Which rich snippet do you want to use?”; Microdata will be printed along with the shortcode.

    I’m taking this with caution because seems there is a lot of confusion out there: most of the examples available in the schema.org website doesn’t validate the testing tool.
    Even a lot of examples that google provides here https://developers.google.com/search/reference/overview doens’t validate, so I’m taking my time to study the best solution.

    This is a beta of version 2.0.6 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UUEixTXYnMNEaNzunbeyurXsWBUjcY2l

    BlogPosting support has been dropped.
    Added Book, Movie and Game.

    There is a lot of under the hood work, so I can have miss something.

    I would be happy if some of you can test this.

    Best,
    Dario

    Hi,
    i’ve spotted that Blog and BlogPost don’t exit any more. So my question is, will be any substitute on that? I mean combination with blogposting. Thanks for answer!

    Unfortunatelly not, and there is nothing we can do: this is the announcement by google https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2019/09/making-review-rich-results-more-helpful.html

    Hm, i am so sad ?? Maybe you can add HowTo and course schema markup as well? By the way your plugin is wonderful and i will give 5 star! Keep going!

    Cheers

    Yes, it’s only matter of time: I Will implement all the item types.

    So you are saying it’s perfectly normal to tag our blogposts as “Book”, “Movie” and “Game” in order to bypass this new change by G? Wouldn’t this lead to a penalty because of incorrect tagging or G doesn’t view it this way?

    (@dudo)

    @gkaralov absolutely no!!
    You have always to choose the itemtype best fit your posts.

    Blogposting will still be there but without any kind of ratings.

    Best,
    Dario

    @dudo Well, will there be any way to bypass the new rule to keep stars appearing in G results for organizations/localbusiness type of sites?

    (@dudo)

    Unfortunatelly no, and even if possible a Google penalization is sure.

    I know that this is not a good news but there is nothing we can do.

    @dudo ok, thank you ??

    @dudo I think “Local Business” and “Organization” are supported review types according to google blog. So can we change the “Blog Posting” Schema to either of it, to display the star ratings in search results. Will these cause any penalty issues as you said.

    Also, how to disable “schema” markup by this plugin. Then, we can manually include the review schemas mentioned in google blog.
