Rich Text – Visual Editor not displaying changes (WP 4.6.1)

  • I cannot paste or alter text in the text section of the Rich text Visual Editor. I make changes but they just don’t take and disappear.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    Hi Steve,

    Is it possible that I might be able to resolve the issue without changing the theme. Changing my theme would alter the website completely.

    I use the Smartmag theme if that helps?

    You be changing just for a MOMENT to rule out any theme/plugin specific issue!
