Javing just started using Lazy Blocks, I need a block with full rich text (ie with full html).

I tried using Rich Text (wysiwyg) but this doesn’t seem to allow adding bulleted lists, images etc.

Classic editor does all of that, but is it ok to use this, or is it deprecated?

In other words, will classic editor be a problem in the future or is safe to use for the long term?

    Hi,

Gutenberg does not provide a RichText as a content editor. It is mainly used to format inline strings (add bold, italic, etc…). Recently, RichText deprecated the option to make multiline content, and this means that paragraphs will no longer be available in the text edited in RichText.

Gutenberg is a block editor, and if you want to insert lists, paragraphs, etc, you have to use the InnerBlocks component instead.

Gutenberg has a Classic block, which uses the Classic editor (TinyMCE). But it is used mostly for old sites, which are not yet ready for blocks. It is not deprecated (yet?), but I think Gutenberg also doesn’t recommend using it for new sites.

I recommend you consider using the InnerBlocks component if you want to add content inside your block. https://www.lazyblocks.com/docs/blocks-code/inner-blocks/

    Regards,
    Nikita.
