Rich Text Module with Page Layout Builder

we got the issue with tinymce , adjusting and updating soon.

I have upgraded to Minimax 1.5.5 and WordPress 3.9 but the Rich Text module no longer works for me

Same problem here on WordPress 3.9.1 and Minimax 1.5.5 – well, similar, I guess… when clicking on Visual, the Visual editor doesn’t load at all, so only the Text tab is available for Rich Text editing.

The console was showing errors saying ckeditor.js and jquery-adapater.js couldn’t be found. I manually downloaded the full latest version of ckeditor and placed it where the plugin was looking, and also grabbed the jquery adapter from ckeditor and placed it in the right place, but I’m getting another error when trying to load the Visual tab now:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘canvas’ of undefined

Another alternative plugin, that I have been using, is “Columns”. This uses shortcodes to create column groups and columns, resulting in pages that look the same as pages created with Minimax Page Layout Builder. It does everything within the Visual or Text tabs of the standard WordPress (TinyMCE) editor, and in some ways is easier than Minimax but not as pretty.

This plugin are not the same thing that Mini Max…
First Mini Max have a visual drag and drop and second a front-end editor.
And than, you can customize more things with css!
I’m waiting for the upgrade!

rich text module is fixed in v1.6.0, please update your copy.

So Im running MiniMax along with Rich Text Widget.
I have uploaded a few images into the the WP libary using the media tab and drag and dropped the content in. Content is all live and published.

When I insert an image into a rich text block using MiniMax the using the Add Media button. The image is inserted and displays in Visual mood fine. It’s inserted with the url ../wp-content/uploads/imagename

When I same the rich text block thand update the page the image fails to display on the page.

Can anyone help with this. I’ve got to have this site up for a client and Im struggling just to get these basic features working.

The rich text module is not yet completely fixed. I first realized this when trying to modify a link. The link buttons are missing along with many other buttons and menu items that are available in the TinyMCE editor and the TinyMCE Advanced plugin. This also is a new situation since the WP 3.9.1 upgrade. The missing buttons make the Page Layout Builder much less useful.

this is not resolved! the rich text module doesn’t let me save html in the text tab. i have disabled every other plugin to make sure it was not a conflict issue and this is the 1.6.0 version of minimax.

Found the paragraph box to tick so resolved it myself. Oops
