Worked fine a few days ago. Disabled all plugins and tested on a fresh copy of wp. Definitely has a bug.

Currently 2 wysiwyg editors will appear in the overlay. No usual wysiwyg buttons. Just a single add media button. Also in the bottom wysiwyg field the text “a123” automatically populates the editor.

This may be related to the wordpress 3.6.1 update, but I’m not sure.

    Shaon,
I have links to screenshots to perhaps better troubleshoot this issue.

    Background:
Again this exact same process works well on wordpress 3.5 with no issue.
Setup new wordpress install 3.6.1 on localhost using wamp server.

    Selected 2012 template
    Screenshot: https://s17.postimg.org/z1mvxf3xr/Theme.png

    Removed all plugins

    Installed/activated Page layout builder/minimax
    Screenshot: https://s21.postimg.org/4xw1r63nb/Plugins.png

Create new page and select minimax tab

Insert 1 Col row and add Rick Text Module

The result is as shown in the following screenshot:
    https://s17.postimg.org/cfm5yfflb/rich_text.png

In the bottom wysiwyg “a123” is auto populated. I did not add that.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help this process along. Feel free to post your email address if you would like for me to email you directly.

Got the exact same issues as mentioned above.
@jeremy did you find a solution?

Got the exact same issues as mentioned above.
Thanks anyway for this useful plugin.

No solution. I have moved away from this plugin completely. This bug has rendered this plugin useless.

Check out Visual Composer for WordPress as a far more superior plugin. It’s got way more options and is better supported.

Got the same behaviour on 3.6.1 and 3.7

Upper textarea only has the ‘add Media’ button. The second textarea has the add Media button and also the ‘Visual’ and ‘Text’-Tab.

When clicking on the Visual-Tab I get the following error loged to the console:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘canvas’ of undefined
    in
    load-scripts.php?c=0&load%5B%5D=hoverIntent,common,admin-bar,schedule,autosave,jquery-color,wp-lists,quicktags,jquery-query,admin-comments,suggest,jquery-ui-cor&load%5B%5D=e,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,postbox,heartbeat,post,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,wp-pluplo&load%5B%5D=ad,media-views,media-editor,wp-auth-check,jquery-ui-tabs,jquery-ui-draggable,jquery-ui-slider,jquery-touch-punch,iris,wp-color-p&load%5B%5D=icker,jquery-form,word-count,editor,jquery-ui-resizable,jquery-ui-button,jquery-ui-position,jquery-ui-dialog,wpdialogs,wplink,wp&load%5B%5D=dialogs-popup,wp-fullscreen&ver=3.7

    on line 45

    Does this help?

*I downgraded to the “last” working rte for now.
