• Hey guys, awesome plugin – thank you so much for creating this.

When are you going to release the new update that deals with Google’s September overhaul of the structured data markup schema?

For instance, this means that Google is no longer accepting “Thing” for the itemReviewed.
Here is the error message: “Thing is not a known valid target type for the itemReviewed property.”

    OR
It would be great if you could provide a line of code that can temporarily fix this as all of the rich snippets are no longer appearing in search results.

    Much appreciated.
    Thanks again.

    Hello @hellogeorge

This new Google schemas requirement update will affect existing rating of sites in the search results.

We have already updated our premium schemas pro plugin according to this new update and will soon update the free plugin as well.

    Thanks for the quick reply.
Any idea when this is likely to be? Please let us know if it’s going to be longer than a week because I’d rather bite the bullet and move to another plugin even though it will mean a lot of work to update all my review posts.
It seems all the other rich snippet plugins have been updated and continuing to wait has really negatively impacted SEO.
I appreciate that your priority is to your paying customers.
Please give an idea of the time frame for other customers so we can better decide what to do about this.
    Much appreciated.

    Hello @hellogeorge

I can understand the urgency and we are trying to provide solution for it but this kind of update is very complex and needs time to implement. I have checked the development progress and it will take at least 2 weeks to release.

However, once the development is ready I’ll share the development branch with you so you can apply the new update on your site.

    Regards,
    Uttam
