Using the Pinterest validator, we tested a few random posts on your site. Each one returned the message ‘ We were unable to retrieve any data from your URL.’ As Facebook uses the same tags, we also checked a few posts with the Facebook debugger which also returns a similar error ‘Could Not Connect To Server’. This likely means something in your setup is blocking access which prevents social media platforms from retrieving information about your site. Please contact your webhost or server admin to investigate further.

Note: After reviewing the code for your site, you are outputting multiple copies of the OpenGraph tags. This can cause problems when sharing content on social media sites or having the incorrect data appear in Google. This is a separate issue from the above problem.

Please disable plugins or theme functions that add additional meta tags. If you are unsure what is adding the additional tags, please run a conflict check following the steps here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts

    Hello,

i setup yoast seo plugin the same as on my other sites like: https://www.whataboustyle.com https://www.lifetimeroads.com etc. and there is not problem. You can see the problem with validator ” ‘ We were unable to retrieve any data from your URL.’ and ‘Could Not Connect To Server’ only with few articles where i did not fill the snippet. But everytime i try this one: https://99coolideas.com/travel/top-places-on-a-budget/ the message is: ” Congratulations! Your rich pins are approved and on Pinterest. “. My main marketing is on the Pinterest so i can not move forward in future projects. I will be very glad for any help. Can i give you WP login or ftp? Can it help? Hosting told me they need ip addresses or domains from which Pinterest communicates with them but i do not have these informations.

    Thank you so much.

    Best regards,
    Marek

    Hello again,

My hosting provider asks where exactly your plugin and pinterest are connecting, they told about DDoS protection if these ip adresses are not blocked, but i don’t think so. I will be glad for any information that will lead to success.

    Thank you.

    Best regards,
    Marek

I have the same issue but it’s unfortunate I haven’t found any solution so far

@shockerqo Yoast SEO does not connect to Pinterest. The plugin outputs meta tags in the source code (which is working as expected). The error occurs when Pinterest and Facebook attempt to contact your website so the IPs are not something we can provide.

    Thanks for your message.
My problem isn’t solved at this time. And still no answer from the Pinterest’s support after 4 emails.

I get in touch with Yoast SEO support several weeks ago. They checked on their side and everything is ok.
