Rich Editor in Safari

Tried searching for this issue, didn’t see any references. A friend I’m switching to wordpress brought to my attention the fact that when she uses Safari to write posts, the editor window always reverts to the non-rich version, i.e. she sees none of the controls at the top, and when she drags in an uploaded image she sees only the unformatted location. Rich editing is turned on for her, and works fine when logged in via Camino or Firefox. I know not everyone loves it, but Safari is fairly standards compliant, and I’m almost certain it worked fine before the 2.0.2 upgrade. Any thoughts on things I can try on my end, or is this just a bug that might get addressed in a later update? If so, is there a specific method of submitting it?
