Ribbon Background Changed from Dark to White

    Hello,

    Not sure why this happened but the background color of the frontpage ribbon section changed from the default black/charcoal with white text to white with dark text. How might I get the black background back? It doesn’t really work with a white background.

    (I did do a search of the forum and also looked at documentation for Hestia but didn’t see anything specific to this issue.)

    Update

    The background color for the ribbon section is still white, but I disabled all front page sections except the big title and ribbon. If you need me to enable those again, let me know.

    But, actually, I like the simplicity of just the big title and ribbon, so it works for me as is, ie, with white background for ribbon section.

    Thanks so much for getting back to me and thanks for the nice words about the site!

    For now I’m not planning on using the ribbon, but if it becomes an issue in the future, I can repost.

    On another note, I think there was an option for me to allow Hestia/ThemeIsle to collect info from my site for the purposes of gathering info about how the theme is working, generally. I can’t find that option (I’m sure I x’d it at some point), but I think it would be good to do as some glitches do come up here and there. Is there a way to do that?

    I think you are referring to the Orbit Fox Companion plugin. It has a feature where it monitors your site, and if say it goes down, you will get a notification via email.

    In case you found some bugs on the theme itself, you can raise a new ticket here and will get back to you the soonest possible we can.
