Hi there, thanks a lot for this plugin, it’s so well done!
I don’t know well if anyone has this problem but the plugin doesn’t want to let me write any rgba at all, it will transform it into a straight color #fff for instance.
Dunno, just doesn’t recognize it by the look of it.
If you have any thoughts that would be awseome.
Thanks again for this great plugin!!

This is a limitation of the Iris color picker (which is used by the WordPress core).

You can manually override the automatic value by clicking outside the input to hide the picker, then retype the rgba value, but it takes some finessing.

Definitely on the list of improvements.

    Thanks,

    Thanks for your kind answer.
I’ve tried what you said but it doesn’t seems to like it (though I might do it wrongly but…)
I ended up using a “no value” in the input and overide straight up in the parent Theme. Not nice but no other ways as it seems that anything you type in the Query/selector section is written for good (which can be a pain sometimes as even if you’re going to the file section and try to erase things straight on the child style.css sheet it wouldn’t let you ^^)
Anyway, again thank you for this great plugin, any plugin outhere needs improvements and fixes here and there but hey, this one is badass already!! ??

As much as I hate to, I have enough requests for this that I am thinking about switching from using the WP core color picker to one that supports the alpha channel.

Look for it in a later release.

    maxero,

With the v1.7.5 release, CTC now uses Spectrum which supports rgba, hsla an named colors. We also added support for multiple fallback styles.
