RfE: config if shown on posts and/or pages

I would like to have the share buttons on posts (and the homepage) only but am getting it on pages too even w/o the shortcode in the template embedded.
Therefore a configuration to enable explicitly on pages and/or posts similar to the hide on homepage checkmark (btw, why not reverse logic, i.e. show on homepage) is requested.
