    Am slightly red-faced after my rant at you guys! Was nothing to do with permalinks at all – was Facebook Like crashing the site in IE. Realised this after disabling the bits that didn’t validate.

    Hmmm…think it’s Friday drinks o’clock! Thanks for all your help.
