Rewrite Url Parameters

  • Hi,

    -I want to rewrite the URL that appears when a search is realized. For example from this: example.com/categoryexample/?locationtag=barcelona
    to this: example.com/categoryexample/barcelona.

    I tried to add some code in .htaccess but didn’t work. Maybe with add_rewrite_rule? Or any idea?

    -Another question: when a category and tag were selected and click on submit button, selected field of category show actual category , but tag field don’t show actual searched tag. How can show selected tag input?

    Hey there

    In regards to rewriting – this is not something we specifically support, there have been users that have done it successfully – however this is a huge and complex (and very custom) process of its own which we can’t really provide support for.

    RE the second question – do you mean the tag field doesn’t preselect the last chosen tag? Or that the tag doesn’t appear in results?
