Rewrite & Republish vs. Editing Post/Page

    Why use Rewrite & Republish instead of just editing the post/page and saving the changes? Maybe I’m missing the obvious (we’ve all done that at times). Can someone help?

    I’ve read the info and watched the video on the info page, but didn’t see this addressed.

    When you have multiple posts and you need to keep a draft form and one published version, things can get complicated.

    Using Rewrite & Republish feature, you will not have to switch into multiple version of the same post while rewriting. This can reduce confusion, save you from accidentally publishing the wrong version.

    Content needs to be refreshed from time to time. So when you rewrite the content, you can rewrite same post or page without taking it offline and then republish it immediately in just a few clicks.
