    Hi.

I have The Events Calendar running on a site with PODs on.

I have two custom post types set up, one called bands, the other called clubs. If I go to /band, I get the archive for bands correctly. If I got to /club, I get rewritten to an event post type which had a title/slug starting with club. :/

I attempt to get around this by changing the slug/title fo the event but that didn’t work. I then duplicated the event, and deleted the original and still can’t hit the custom post type.

How can I tell The Events Calendar to respect my custom post type name?

  • Hi @delanthear,

Have you tried going to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress backend after renaming the slug, along with clearing any caches you might have with your hosting? Just going to the Permalinks settings page should force a rewrite of the rules and hopefully allow you to see the custom post type again.

    Cheers!

Yeah, that didn’t help. Tried it a number of times!

However, today it’s working. I’m guessing it was some sort of caching, but I’ve no idea what. Perhaps my host has something transparent in front doing it :/
