• I recently saw where someone had posted a WP question on a stackexchange[dot]com forum dedicated to WP, and a reply there had suggested they post here for help. The searcher responded with something like that they had “more confidence” in wordpress.stackexchange[dot]com.

What does stackexchange have that we don’t have here? A well-crafted reward system promotes a culture of actually helping people instead of just criticizing how questions are asked.

May I suggest that our .org here consider that unless a well crafted reward system is implemented, searchers needing help may continue to face a batch of moderators among whom some have become toxic, preferring not to help, but only to police and enforce rules. I’m all for rules, but they need enforced in a culture of compassion and with a desire to help.

Policing without helping, is not helping.
