    Hi,

i am using Revolution Slider, and the Youtube Video element that they provide. I followed the wizard of Complianz, it founds that i am using Youtube as 3rd party service, but in the end if i scan my website to https://2gdpr.com/ i see Youtube cookies are placed without user consent.

I am using Complianz on another website that i use Elementors Youtube videos, and it is working perfect. But now with Revolution slider i see that cookie over there.

I also tried to go to on Complianz “integration” menu and set the youtube URLs to the textbox with title “URL’s from iFrames sources that should be blocked before consent” but stil no luck. Is there anything further that i have to do that i missed?

    regards

    Hi @apatsidis123,

I think it depends on the implementation of YouTube of Revolution Slider, I will have a look, but just to be sure can you post the URL of the plugin?

Untill now i just inserted the youtube Video URL, and it didnt worked now i have inserted the url as your guide says, to get it from the Chrome’s developer tools, from the src”—–” part. Hi @apatsidis123,

The URL won’t matter, most likely because Slider Revolution does not inject the URL directly, so finding it is impossible in the current situation.

You can try enabling Ajax Loaded content under settings under Complianz – Settings, but probably this will need a custom integration.

    Hi @apatsidis123,

I contacted Slider Revolution to collaborate. Keep an eye on our changelog if something changes.

You can disable YouTube as an integration until then.

    Hi,

I just did not used the revolutions slider’s YouTube layer, and inserted the YouTube’s iframeand that works fine. So until you integrate it i will use it like this. Thanks for the reply.

    hi,

    any news with the integration?

    Hi @apatsidis123,

We’ve looked into the plugin, however an integration with Slider Revolution purely from our side would be pretty intricate and is likely to break when their plugin receives an update.

The best solution would be for the developers of Slider Revolution to conform to the WP Consent API. This would allow any Cookie Management plugin to manage consent for plugins that integrate with the API.

If you want, you can ask the support team of Slider Revolution to contact us directly at [email protected] for any assistance they might require.

    Hope it helps/clarifies.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno
