Revolution slider buttons not working

  • Hi, I am trying to link buttons in revolution slider to pages. I have followed tutorials how to do this and read every post I can to fix the problem but nothing is working:

    I have deactivated all plugins except revolution slider
    Activated Twenty Seventeen
    Button Layers are on top

    I’ve tried text layer and button layer > add action > simple link

    The plugin came bundled with a theme that I bought a long time ago and never used so support has expired.

    Can anyone help please?
