REVIVE: sticky posts on homepage only show placeholder

  • My homepage is composed of stickies. I use them to prioritize what I was to show, both text and videos. However, I can’t see any YouTube video image, or post pictures, only a gray placeholder.

    I had to revert to my old theme, but would love to use REVIVE. Let me know when you want to look at it, I’ll put it back on.

    What am I missing? I looked everywhere in Customize, I Googled how to show featured images, create a static homepage, etc. I can’t find an answer. It’s ONLY doing this with REVIVE. Why?
