revisr to sync non-main branch different domain staging

  • Hello,

    setup a staging site at staging.mydomain.com for the main mydomain.com site and trying to use revisr to have a development workflow between the two.

    I have two possibly quite silly questions:

    1. Can I sync the mydomain.com installation with the main branch in a github account and also sync staging.mydomain.com with a staging branch in the same github account? Does Revisr allow that? How?

    2. If in the ‘Development URL’ field I enter staging.mydomain.com will staging.mydomain.com be replaced with mydomain.com both in the DB and the synced files too or just in the DB? It’s not clear by the italics description right below that field…

    Surely, it’s very limiting to just replace db instances and leave files such as wp-config.php with the wrong name. Am I missing something?
