Revisions disappeared and lost post content4.2.2

    I have been working on a wordpress post for days and days. Today, my computer automatically restarted to install new updates, and when I logged back on, all the content from just this one post I was working on had disappeared. I’ve tried loggging off and on again from wordpress, I’ve looked through my history in firefox – and there’s no sign of any of the post entries at all.

    I’m hoping and praying someone can give me some good news and tell me it can be restored?

    check in the WordPress dashboard for any saved draft

    Hi Tara,

    Sorry, I should have mentioned that there is a draft saved, but it contains only two of the hundreds of paragraphs I had written, and they are the very first paragraphs I wrote.

    Thanks for letting me know, Tara. Any ideas why it happened and how I can avoid it happening in the future?
