"revisions" checkbox is gone in screen options

  • The “revisions” checkbox is gone under screen options. I have tried disabling all plugins as well as changing my theme. I contacted my host and they updated my core files (this is outside of my knowledge area clearly…) None of this worked. Any suggestions?

    does the situation happen for posts, pages and custom post types?

    yes the revision checkbox used to show. so now that i am looking more carefully, it does show under pages, just not under posts. I use WP ultimate recipe to make all of my posts (again, it used to show here) but have not used this “feature” in well over a month so i’m not sure how long it has been gone.

    your issue might be plugin specific.
    custom post types (like recipes) may not support all options–i.e. revisions.
    contact the plugin author to ask if something changed recently.
