    Hello there @pphayel,

If you are using Scheduled Database Maintenance, it is removing all of the post and pages revisions. However, if you are not using this optimization and still have this issue, please provide a URL, so we can check it out.

Deleting the posts and pages revisions are expected behaviour of the database optimization and a full list of what exactly is removed is present in the infobox under the option.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

I have the database optimization active as well and just realized the same as OP that it deletes all of the revisions rather than keeping most recent. My question is, is there a function that would allow us to target / disable the revision deletion function specifically? If not, can we set it to keep a certain number of revisions the way WP does? Would rather not disable all of the db optimization functionalities, if possible.

    Thank you.
I was missing my revisions and only today I realize why.

    My question:
is there a way to recover the old revisions that have been removed by the Scheduled Database Maintenance?

    Hello,

+1 to this thread. As @jontprice mentioned, we have the same question/desire. It would be very helpful to have some control over this so that we can utilize the other benefits of these database optimization functionalities.

We hope this gets implemented soon if it isn’t already possible somehow. Thank you.
