Reviews on front page missing date and more

    Hi,

    First, thank you for the great plug-in – it was just what I was looking for!

    I have told your plug-in to put all new reviews on the front page, which it does. However, the posts on the front page are missing the Date / Author / Category information on the top (below the post title). The information is present on normal posts so I suspect the problem is in the Recencio plug-in?
    When clicking on the review to open it in single-page, the data is displayed correctly.

    You are welcome to check it out at bogtanken.dk (it is in Danish though).

    I hope you are able to help me get the Date / Author / Category on the reviews on the front page as well!

    Hello,
    The problem you’ve described is with the theme. The theme doesn’t recognize that there is a ‘review’ post type. As such, it can’t show this information which belongs to the review post type.

    Give me a day to look at your theme and work out a solution for.

    I have looked at the theme and I am correct with my initial assumption. The theme is checking to see if the post type is a post before display the meta information such as date and post author.

    I fixed this using a child-theme for the free version of your theme. It works but I am not certain it will work with the pro version of your theme.

    Can you check with the theme developer if they could provide with a child-theme version of the pro theme?

    Hello Kimoves,
    I was to tell you that you can enable the ‘Category’ taxonomy in the plugin setting to get that option in the book reviews.
