Reviews Not showing up in blog posts

Hello,
When I looked at your site I can see a review showing up on the homepage. So could you be more specific as to which “blog post list” you are referring to?

As for the builtin ‘Recent Posts’ widget, there is no way for me or other developers to easily add new post types (i.e., reviews) to it. That is why the Recencio plugin has its own “Recent Reviews” widget. If you’d like I can make some changes to my widget to look like the default one.

Sorry, I’m referring to when I’m on my admin page (and the way reviews are recognized, I guess). Based upon my research, I think maybe there used to be a way to add a new post from the Blog Posts “add new” and write the review from there using Recencio, but I don’t have that option. Since the Recencio Review isn’t recognizing as a blog post, settings that I have set up to do automatically when other posts are scheduled and posted don’t happen with my reviews. Since I’ve just installed the plugin and only used it for two reviews, I’m still learning. So I was hoping there was an easy fix for this, but it’s sounding like maybe not. Thanks for trying to help though.

The plugin treats regular blog posts and reviews as 2 separate things. So reviews will not show up in posts admin table and vice versa. Also, reviews can be scheduled like regular posts.

As a side note, while looking at your site I noticed that the review does not have a book author. For sake of Google results, try filling out the included book review fields as much as possible.
