    Hi,

I have added the review widget with the shortcode [jgm-review-widget id=10386] to the details page on my site but the review is not showing. I added a test review, and can see it on the judge.me site and it says published, but it is not showing on my site.

I use wp-rocket but even if I disable that plugin there is still no review shown.

Any idea what else I need to do to get the reviews to show up?

    Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello @guytz72, thank you for reaching out here in the forum.

It seems that our plugin is having problems to access your shop, this probably explains why the reviews are not updating.

Could you please check with your host or firewall about this error that we’re receiving?:

    Response: 401
    {“status”:”error”,”error”:”MISSING_AUTHORIZATION_HEADER”,”error_description”:”Authorization header not received. Either authorization header was not sent or it was removed by your server due to security reasons.”}

You should make sure that our access is whitelisted from this root:

Thanks for the quick response. I’ll check with the host and confirm.

I’ve had a look but can’t find where I need to add permissions. It is a self hosted site on a Bitnami WordPRess multisite on AWS EC2 instance.

I did have a similar issue with a custom app on the server and had to modify the conf file to allow authorisation headers for it, I did the same for your plugin directory but it still has the error.

Further googling suggests that I need to allow access to the WordPress REST API, but I’m not sure what I need to give access to.

There is no firewall in place that I am aware of.

If I add a carousel, then the review displays.

In case it matters the particular product I am wanting to show is one that has different variations, I want to leave reviews and have them shown for the base product, not the individual variations (on this particular page).

    Thanks for your help!

Awesome work by the support team through email contact. Turns out it was another plugin restricting access to the Woocommerce APIs.

Thanks Judge.Me support for all your help!
