    Hi,

I get the following info in the widget view :

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/g-business-reviews-rating/widget.php on line 491
    Not reviews or ratings exist.

    Whats wrong?

@havin Thank you for making me aware of this issue. No errors should appear even when the reviews are empty.

I will fix this in the next release of the plugin. In the meantime, please go to Settings | Advanced tab and click to clear the cache (if reviews exist).

Perfekt. The error massage is gone after the “clear cache”.

But still no reviews in the front end.

No rating or review data found. Please check your Rating and Reviews settings.

@havin I’ve committed the fix to the trunk version this will be resolved in version 2.12. It was just attempting to count the reviews when none are there.

But in the backend I see all the reviews.

And when I turn on the DEMO mode everything works fine.

When will you realise the new version?

@havin If that’s the case, then there may be some restrictions in place that are causing the reviews to not show (e.g. asking to show just 5 star reviews when none exist or reviews lengths between 100 and 200 characters when none exist). The preview in the Settings may help you find a good balance. It’s hard to tell much more without specific details.

@havin It may be a caching issue in this case. Do you have a caching service running? If so, please clear that. And try using the Advanced Clear Cache button once more.

I’ll try to isolate this issue as the aggressive caching has caused similar problems before. However, it’s difficult to test against because it doesn’t always replicate the problem.

What caching service do you recommend?

If you’re not using one at the moment, then it’s WordPress handling the basic caching of data. There’s one I like for my websites, but it’s not relevant to resolving this issue.

Did you manage to view your reviews in the front-end? Fewer restrictions in the Setup mean it’s more likely to show the reviews you have retrieved from Google.
