Reviews are visible even without email verification

    I’ve just set it up so that the user gets a verification email through the review approval link. But the review shows up right after it’s submitted, without the user having to click on the email. ??

    Have you enabled the Require Approval setting?

    Thanks for your answer. So I have to manually approve the comment? It will not be published automatically after verification by the reviewer via email?

    Review approval and review verification are two different things.

    • Approval determines whether or not a review is publicly visible.
    • Verification happens when a person verifies their review by email which adds a verified badge to the review.
