Review translations using shortcodes

    Hi,

    I know there is no option to translate reviews but I may have another solution for this. Site reviews can show reviews based on a category. So I was thinking, what if I translate all reviews and put them into a new category and only show that category?

    But I’m not sure how to tackle this.

    I’m currently showing all reviews in the native language using:

    [site_reviews hide=”assigned_links” pagination=”ajax” schema=”true” display=”10″]

    I could recreate all reviews in another language and show them using:

    [site_reviews_summary assigned_terms=”13,14″]

    But all the current reviews don’t have a category so all newly added reviews in another language will also be shown there. What would be the best way to do this?

    Did you try Bulk editing your reviews to add a category?

    FYI: Site Reviews v7.0 will add full review translation support for MultilingualPress. Additionally, the Review Actions addon (released after Site Reviews v7.0 will also provide an AI-based translate-to-English feature (using a free DeepL API key).

    FYI: The MultilingualPress integration has been tentatively moved to a Site Reviews v7.1.0 release.
