French reviews translated in english

  • Hello,

    I display on a client’s site the Google reviews on the homepage, unfortunately some reviews are translated into English while they are basically well written in French.

    I just wanted to know why and if we could change this behavior and display by default in French? ??

    That’s interesting that Google is returning some translated review instead of the original. Use the below filter to adjust the preferred language when requesting the reviews from Google. Add it to your theme’s functions.php file. Adjust the “de” language code to the one you need.
