Your postings here are really beginning to look like spam…

K, you’ve given me a lot of help on these boards so I respect your judgement. Why is it spam? Or did you edit it from a formerly spam comment into a non-spam one?

I guess I’m a little touch-y b/c somone wrote marketing spam! on one of my posts here asking for an opinion much like this guy seems to be doing…which is what this thread is for or not?

As for the site–did you create that theme yourself? It looks cool. I’m not sure what the point of the site is except I guess it’s a blog?

joelwalsh, because kuts209 has already made three posts or so on the same site within 2 to 3 days already before. =)

(Well, it’s listed as a week ago, but within that week or so, the posts have been within 2 to 3 days time frames.)

And guess what, it looks exactly the same as it did the last time you spam’d it — orange, 70s, so f’ing what.

OK…that makes sense, I think…

It’s just usually link spam involves anchor text. This doesn’t. Without anchor text, the link is not so valuable from an SEO standpoint–not enough to justifying signing up for an account.

Of course, if he keeps posting and posting in new threads after you’ve already critiqued it, I guess it is…in which case, the post should just be removed?

Normally I wouldn’t follow up when I’ve been so well covered, but:

whooami’s definitive fingering aside, I did note it was *beginning to look like* spam. When a member starts 6 threads within the span of about a week, each ones goal primarily to provide a link to their site, the spam alarm tends to go off. Now kuts could be an unbridaled enthusiast desperate for some feedback, hence my cautious warning. That doesn’t stop the alarm from being triggered, though.

Funny how there is so very little spam…maybe it’s the lack of sigs…

there is plenty of this sort of spam, trust me, and of course not replying always helps — the threads tend to die off that way ??

Keep in mind we’ve got some very good moderators hereabouts when it comes to that sort of thing. :)
