Review My Site: DomainStick.com

    We are working out the kinks and would love feedback: DomainStick.com. When I go to the website, there’s this moment when the font is really big and it then reverts to the correct size. Is anyone seeing this, or is this a cache problem on my laptop? Are there any other glitches visible to the eye? When I look at the site on my Iphone, I do notice that at times the carousel images turn into little blank icons. This must be another loading problem. If there is a good plug-in out there that helps with loading, please let me know!!!

  • Yeah, the loading problem is surely a big problem, as it takes more than a few minutes to load properly… here is a few things that i guess can be responsible for the slow loading,

    1) The 3 sliders – Why would you need to have 3 sliders anyway, why not just one for all that you got. Also perhaps you can delay loading the slider, let the whole site load up first, then load the slider,

    2) Am not sure, but your site looks busy. Perhaps you can get rid of some of the plugin that you might not need, or optimize your java script if you are using… if you are using any custom plugin, you can get the coding checked and optimised…

    Over all it is a unique site, i guess it is meant to sell websites and domains. Best of luck with it,

    Thank you HealthVotes. I guess you were able to look at the Source Code and see all the plug-ins installed that I’m not using? Or do you have x-ray eyes? I am starting to delete the ones that are just sitting there unused. No custom plug-ins here. Is there a way to have the site load up first and then then slider? I did not know one could time it as such. THANKS!
