Review Images – Lazy Load support

FYI, I am using Siteground Optimizer and Jetpack, Siteground Optimizer overrides WordPress Lazy load Funcionality and Jetpack loads helps loading the image from WordPress servers instead of mine. What I am trying to suggest here is to use a “native” way to load the images using lazy load to avoid conflicts with other plugins. You know better how to do it, but I just want to bring this to your attention. Thanks

Can you please update the plugin to the latest version and check if the issue is resolved?

Hi, I have updated it yesterday, I could not see an option to enable lazy load. The images were delaying the load, same as before, both the image gallery and the ones from the comments.

I have commented out below lines to avoid loading the gallery images, and reduced comments load to 3, you can see the comments images are not following lazy load.

Just double ckecked, it is not working, I have uncommented those lines, same issue from pagespeed test, the gallery of images are blocking page load. I will leave it for today if you wish to take a look and remove the image gallery tomorrow. We can schedule to get this back after tomorrow for you to take a look

2. How do you enable lazy loading for those images?

3. Can you please send a system report for your site? You can generate a system report in WordPress admin area by going to WooCommerce -> Status -> Get system report.

1. No images are blocking page load, only Customer reviewa plugin is doing it. Yes, lazy loading works.

2. Siteground overrides native wordpress lazy load functionality: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/sg-optimizer/image-optimizations/.
I have desactivated Siteground Optimizer for testing, same issue. I have removed gallery image and set comments limit to 7, to include 2 images from comments, I don’t see those images are blocking page load, it seems to be only the gallery? gallery is at the top, would it some how reaching the port view durimg page load? javascript gallery code requirig the images to load to generate the slider?

I mentioned in my previous post the images include as part of the review were working but not the top gallery, I have edited my comment, as this is not true, both top gallery and images from reviews are not doing lazy load.

Can you please deactivate the “Siteground” plugin and let me know when I can check your site? We cannot reproduce the issue on our test site. Also, we cannot install the “Siteground” plugin on our test site because we don’t use their hosting.
