  • Hi @manfred-gottschling,

In order to reflect the translation on your dashboard, the translation must be approved.

We recommended you to make a request in the Polyglots forum if you want to be the PTE to review the translation.

On a side note, we recommend switching to Delicious Recipes which has a lot more features and improvements compared to Blossom Recipe Maker. The plugin is also translated in German and only approval is left. You can be the PTE to approve the translation.

You can also migrate your existing recipes from Blossom Recipe Maker by referring to this guide.

so the suggested Plugin is also made from your team?

It might be helpful if you set me on developerslist for translation (German, english, hungarian ) so the request will work, otherwise it will be harder for all of us to control the given translation as PTE and approve them.

Thank you for your kind advice and support

So i checked the plugin, but blossom recipe is more suitable for the usage i request. I think i will adjust some settings in core and use blossom.

For the translation i created the .mo & .po for myself and put them in my installation – works for me.

I wanna include the recipe Calculator in some blogposts and info pages as well. And for this requirement blossom is more suitable.

Anyway thank you for your kind support and help

    Hi @manfred-gottschling,

Yes, the Delicious Recipes plugin is made by the same team and includes many improvements over Blossom Recipe Maker.

Our team is working on Delicious Recipes and will only continue working on it. So, there won’t be any major updates for Blossom Recipe Maker.

Regarding the translation, you can make the PTE request in Polyglots forum to review the translation.

Ok thank you for your Message.

So may you let me know why you canceled the ID Tags for implementing the recipe, or might be better just parts of the recipe (recipe calculator, recipe stats, etc) in delicious recipe?

This is one of the must necessary feature we use to publish recipe information.

I checked bevor and couldn′t find the ID, just the recipe him self to publish in recipe section. Also i checked the documentation and wasn′t able to find how to solve these requirement.

    Hi @manfred-gottschling,

Sorry, we didn’t understand your requirement. Can you please elaborate with some more details on what you are trying to achieve?

A screenshot will be really helpful if you could provide a reference or annotate it.

    for sure,

blossom recipe maker gives me the possibility to add the recipe ID (Recipe Shortcode) to any page or blog to display the recipe in the page content.

Delicious recipe did not, there is only the recipe page itself.

For our request it is also important to choose wich parts of the recipe should be displayed.

    for example:

the whole recipe includes: Overview, Ingredients, Instruction, Gallery, Recipe Notes, Rating

to implement in blogpost or page we only need part of the recipe:
    Gallery & Ingredients
    or
    Overview & Ingredients
    or
    Gallery and Overview

It might be helpful to implement these kind of function to make the plugin more suitable.

    For your Information:
We translated the .pt to German and created the .mo & .po our self to have the plugin in german language. it was faster and not complicated for us ??

    Hi @manfred-gottschling,

Yes, there are a few differences between these two plugins. Though there is no shortcode feature, there page templates for Recipe Taxonomies like Courses, Cuisine, Cooking methods and so on.

You can upload the translation and make a request in Polyglots forum to review your translation.

If you have further queries, please reach out to our support team.
