    Hi,

I used the free version of the plugin to import some reviews (previously hosted on reviews.co.uk) into my site.

First, I downloaded the sample csv, then I copied my reviews into that exact format, then saved the file, ensuring the encoding was UTF-8. I then uploaded successfully to my site.

However, the review count under the product title always reads ‘0’. Also, in the reviews tab, if I click the ‘1’ beside the 5 star rating, I get this:
    0 reviews with a 5-star rating
There are no reviews with a 5-star rating yet

    I then tried these steps:

    Clear Transients WooCommerce transients
    Clear Transients Expired transients
    Delete Orphaned variations
    Term counts Recount Terms

    This made no difference.

I then tried actually writing a review through the site (on my staging site). That review was properly picked up, and the review counts were correct. I obviously don’t want to do it this way on my actual site, as the dates would all be wrong.

    Please help!

  • Hi @charliemcmanus,

Please reach us via support. We will check the issue.

I’m having the exact same problem. I’ll reach out to support, but I wanted to leave a note here as well.

I am facing the same issue. Have emailed and waiting for their reply.

    Hi juusan,nick2018,

The problem is caused by website cache which is a WooCOmmerce reported issue. We have fixed the issue by contacting via support. Hope everything is alright now.

I would say that the product is faulty and only works under limited circumstances. Ive tried basically everything I could find on the internet and everything the plugin developer asked me to and I still cannot get the imported totals to add up correctly. And, after further communication with support I was told that it would only work if I purchased the paid version of the plugin. It would seem to me that in order to not waste the user’s time the developers would have stated that openly from the beginning. ??

    Hi @stevenmayjr,

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused. This is a caching related issue in some websites. WP Reviews Pro plugin is supported by our premium version only. We will create a follow up on this and reach you via support.
