    Hi team,

Received an email telling me that I need to change to a commercial plan. I do not run any ads or sell anything on my site. It’s a hobby, not a business. Please can this be reviewed? I love Jetpack but I’m poor!

    Thank you.

    Hi there, @rtshq,

I checked your site, and I found two elements that trigger the commercial status for your site:

    • there is Adsense code in the source page: if you don’t use it or don’t make revenue with it, you may want to remove it
    • there is a donation option that is considered a revenue source. You may want to remove it as well to keep using the Stats as non-commercial site

Free stats plans are for truly personal sites only; asking commercial sites to pay is the only way we can keep this feature available to people who run hobby blogs and similar.

If you want to keep both (or one of these mentioned above) please upgrade to a?paid plan?to continue using Jetpack stats.?You can check out our?help article?for more information.

Hope that’s all clear and helps ??

Thank you for getting back to me. I have removed the adsense code! It was added when I installed Sitekit but I never finalised the adsense set up.

There is no donation option, or at least not one which I have set up. I have searched the source code but I can’t find any mention of donations. Would you be kind enough to point out where this is located?

    Hi there, @rtshq,

That’s brilliant, thank you. I have then checked the site in depth, and I suspect the system has detected some donation-related keywords that flagged it as “donation” site. I have rectified it for you, so now your site is marked as non-commercial ??

    You should be all set!
