Reverting to default order in media library?

  • Hello,

    This plugin is really great and works fine at one of my sites.
    My problem is that I need to export/import all posts to another site and this process doesn’t keep the original folder structure I’ve created with this plugin and imports all media with the default WP media structure (year/month).

    Is it possible to revert somehow to classic WP media folder structure for media at existing site or, otherwise, should I rather install the plugin at new site with same settings? In this case I’m not sure whether the import/export process will keep the same structure…

    What would you recommend?

    Hi John,
    Sorry for the really late reply. Unfortunately you will have to recreate the plugin setting in the new WP install. The importExport doesn’t work with plugins just Post and CPTs.

    When transferring databases I use Migrate DB Pro

    Hi, thanks for this.

    I don’t need to export the plugin…
    My question was about the plugin’s settings.

    At current site is is set to create folders based on username and it works fine.

    I just need to re-create this structure at new site.
    I didn’t start yet, and will see what happens.

    Anyhow, an import/export feature for the pluf^gin would be nice to have.
