Reverting Font Changes in Typography Panel

I have a general question regarding the typography panel in both the Twenty Twenty-Five and Twenty Twenty-Four WordPress themes.
Currently, I don’t see an intuitive way to revert font changes made through the typography panel, especially in the font modal.
Specifically, I’d like to know:
- Is there a recommended approach to revert fonts back to the system serif or sans-serif?
- How can I specify a custom font stack, such as?
Georgia, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif?
Any guidance on achieving these adjustments or restoring defaults would be greatly appreciated.

Twenty Twenty-Five includes a selection of font pairs that were chosen by the theme designer. It does not have an option to use a system font.
In the Font Library you can upload fonts and choose fonts from a provider like Google Fonts.
It does not have an option to add already installed system fonts to the list of fonts that can be selected in the font family options. There is a request for this feature and related discussions here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/54186
You can add CSS to your site to override the default font family, but the fonts will not be available in the option. You can add the CSS in the Additional CSS field or in a child theme.
