Reverting Back to the Default Template

Looks like you’re missing all your wp pages. The only things I see are the wp folders and config.php file. You need to upload the rest of the files, there’s a bunch missing.

Well it doesn’t look like you uploaded all the files included in the WP 1.5 distribution. I don’t see any of the wp- files in that index. Make sure that everything is uploaded.

Ok, now EVERYTHING I got in the upgrade file is uploaded. I missed the files in the main folder (the one with the admin folder, etc.) But it still isn’t working.

I don’t know if this makes a difference, but there are WP files in TWO places on my server.

One is a file called www that holds the WP files (wp-admin, etc.) and one is a file called public_html/. The public html is the one I deleted and uploaded the new files to.

In Cpanel those two are identical.

Ok, so what did I do wrong??? ??

did you disable the plugins as it says?

Or if you followed mine, maybe I missed out uploading the root files.

I used these directions: https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/upgrade/ and all the plugins said they were already disabled. The one that had the option to disable, I clicked on it and it said I couldn’t do that. It was the last one listed.

Anyone still helping me?

Yep, it’s just that I’m also cooking in the meantime:)
What I’d do: download (with FTP) all the plugins from the server – or if you have them on your computer you might skip this step. Then delete all plugins from your server, and run the wp-admin/upgrade.php file.

Did that. Still getting the “Error Page Not Found” after I run upgrade and still seeing a list of files on my website.

You didn NOT upload all the files. the index.php file is missing!

In the root file? It’s there. I’ll go back and make sure ALL the files are uploaded.

ALL files from upgrade download are present and accounted for.
