• I had a new theme installed on my site and I wish to convert it back to the original default template. How do I go about doing that?

Where do I find the Presentation option?

These are the options I see:
Write Edit Categories Links Users Blacklist Options Plugins Templates Upload Profile View site ?? Logout

You are using WP1.2.2 or below ..
If you do not want to upgrade, then go to the link below and re-download the version you have (Not sure ? Do a View Source when looking at your blog in your browser. It’s near the top)

Then just upload the index.php and wp-layout.css

I found the directions for upgrading, I’m just afraid to delete the files. I delete EVERY file that starts with wp, except for the config.php???

All of them?? Even under admin, etc?

Yup. Delete everything related to WordPress except the wp-config.php file. New versions of these files are included with the 1.5 distribution. Upload all these and then follow the rest of the instructions.

Yes, all of them (except wp-config.php). It’s seems scary, but it works:)

Ok, I did EVERYTHING the directions told me to do. Now, when I go to my blog, I have an index of all my files. My blog is not there. What did I do wrong???

Did you upload the new (1.5) files into the place where your WP files used to be? Did you run upgrade.php? Did you run upgrade.php???

I clicked on the upgrade.php and it said there was only one step and if I was seeing that, I was done.

I uploaded the new files into the place where the WP files used to be. I followed all the directions to a “t”

Probably this is the case when we need a link…

Which link do youneed? Ask and it’s yours!!! To my CPanel?? To my blog?? Whatcha need??

Obviously to your blog. (Cpanel comes later, if we don’t find a solution ??

None of the root .php files have been uploaded.

I am afraid you didn’t upload ALL the WP files!
Your blog is/was at the root of your site? or in a directory?
It seems as if you uploaded only the 4 directories, but not the files on the same level… . Upload them!
