Reversing Store Credit to Original Payment Method

    How do you reverse a store credit, after it has already been issued, if a customer requests a refund back to their original payment method?

    Fo example:

    A customer returns a $100 jacket and is issued store credit. Later, they request the $100 be refunded to their credit card instead.

    How can the store reverse store credit and process the refund? Aside from adjusting the credit for the customer, the refund option gets disabled on the order, preventing a return to the original payment method.

    Hi @yahavcainel,

    You would need to do some manual adjustment here. For the order, you would need to remove the store credit refund and change the order status to processing.

    Then, you would be able to see the refund option again. You can also make the refund from your payment platform dashboard, eg Stripe Dashboard.
